Monthly Cleaning Requirements

• Dust all areas and remove any cobwebs, dirt or debris

• Polish all wooden handrails and clean any metal handrails & balustrades

• Window cleaning as an extra, when required, if there are communal windows in the staircase

• Clean windows on a turn axle internally and externally if stipulated and extra fee agreed

• Clean all stair treads

• Hoover all carpeted surfaces (Including under the residents personal mats (if applicable)

• Sweep all skirtingboards and stair treads

• Sweep all floor surfaces thoroughly

• Mop all hard floors with anti bacterial disinfectant

• Spray air freshener in all communal floors

• Wipe all common area doors, threshold and framework (not including private doors)

• Polish all glass on the entrance door and adjacent panels

• Wipe the internal area of the entrance door

• Polish main entrance brass and or metal work

• Polish window handles and windowsills

• All tasks undertaken would be evidenced on a sign-off sheet and any issues with lights, sockets or interior decor would be communicated to the RA and or the individual resident who organises the service for the stairwell.

Specifications

Kitchen - Pull out all substantial free standing appliances, clean inside and behind.

Full fridge & freezer. Clean oven, as well as behind the glass casing. All surfaces, fronts, cupboards, floor and countertop space.

Living Room - All wood work, trim, dust walls, spot treatment on carpets and sofas (where applicable) polish, hoover, mop (where applicable) light shades, lamps and clean glass windows and window frames.

Bedrooms - Pull out all free standing appliances (drawers, cupboards, beds) thoroughly clean behind and inside. Flip mattress and dust, hoover and realign. Polish, dust and clean skirtings with anti bacterial disinfectant.

Bathrooms - Treat shower with anti mould spray, clean splash walls or tiles, buff taps, shower head and taps. Dust, clean, mop floor, fully disinfectant toilet and surroundings.
